Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Technician to join our team at the University System of New Hampshire. As a Data Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and updating student, faculty, and staff records in our college database system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update student, faculty, and staff records in a coordinated college database system.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of college data.
  • Generate reports and analyze data as required by administrative staff, faculty, and college leadership.
  • Uphold data security and confidentiality standards in accordance with university and college policies and regulations.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in data management, preferably in an educational or healthcare setting.
  • Strong proficiency with database management systems (e.g., SQL, Oracle) and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau).
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
