  • Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 10-hour shifts

Required Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Strong knowledge of facility operations and basic maintenance, particularly in well operations utilizing artificial lift methods, with a preference for Rod pump, ESP, and Gas Lift
  • Prior experience in the oil and gas sector is essential
  • Experience with compressors is mandatory
  • Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with SCADA systems
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • This is a safety-sensitive role subject to random drug and alcohol testing
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise construction and roustabout activities, ensuring necessary parts are ordered
  • Inspect gas and oil wells, tanks, meters, separators, compressors, and associated piping for leaks or irregularities, taking corrective measures as needed
  • Access remote locations to monitor wells, maintaining operational levels, pressures, and flow on separation equipment, adjusting controls as necessary
  • Gauge tanks for the sale or transfer of condensate, crude oil, and water, while keeping accurate records
  • Prioritize and operate wells to meet contractual obligations for rental compressors, flowing gas wells, gas lift wells, rod pump units, submersible wells, surface pumping equipment, and test wells
  • Collect relevant data on equipment performance and productivity, analyzing daily changes
  • Adjust pumping unit run times, time clocks, injection rates, stroke lengths, and perform basic troubleshooting
  • Utilize electronic remote well supervision and SCADA to enhance production and minimize safety and environmental risks
  • Maintain chemical injection rates and manage the startup and shutdown of wells
  • Timely enter daily volumes, well tests, downtime, and injection data into a computer database
  • Monitor daily production inputs in electronic data gathering software, ensuring accuracy
  • Proactively optimize production and costs within assigned areas
  • Conduct minor repairs on production equipment and generate work notifications for additional required maintenance
  • Operate and optimize Artificial Lift Systems, including wellhead compression, capillary strings, plunger lift, foamed injection, gas lifts, and flow case equipment
  • Execute necessary regulatory tasks, inspections, and site security, taking full responsibility for daily operations and maintenance of assigned wells
  • Be available for on-call duties and respond to alarm notifications
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization on lease routes and at facilities
  • Contribute to achieving safety, production, and financial objectives set by corporate and individual business units
