As a Certified Surgical Technician, you will play a crucial role in assisting surgeons during various operative and invasive procedures. Your expertise will ensure that the operating suite is fully prepared and equipped for each procedure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the surgical team during operations and other medical interventions.
- Ensure that the operating room is properly set up and ready for surgical procedures.
- Monitor and maintain the inventory of surgical instruments and supplies.
- Perform cleaning and sterilization of all surgical tools and equipment.
- Engage in departmental meetings and contribute to performance enhancement initiatives.
- Provide care and service to patients across all age groups, from neonates to geriatrics.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent is required.
- Certification as a Surgical Technician or equivalent training is mandatory.
- Current Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification is necessary.
- A minimum of one year of experience in an Operating Room setting is preferred.
Communication Skills:
Must possess effective communication skills in English, both spoken and written.
