Position Overview:

As a Certified Surgical Technician, you will play a crucial role in assisting surgeons during various operative and invasive procedures. Your expertise will ensure that the operating suite is fully prepared and equipped for each procedure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the surgical team during operations and other medical interventions.
  • Ensure that the operating room is properly set up and ready for surgical procedures.
  • Monitor and maintain the inventory of surgical instruments and supplies.
  • Perform cleaning and sterilization of all surgical tools and equipment.
  • Engage in departmental meetings and contribute to performance enhancement initiatives.
  • Provide care and service to patients across all age groups, from neonates to geriatrics.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Certification as a Surgical Technician or equivalent training is mandatory.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification is necessary.
  • A minimum of one year of experience in an Operating Room setting is preferred.

Communication Skills:

Must possess effective communication skills in English, both spoken and written.
