Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Engineer to join our team at EOTECH. As a key member of our manufacturing department, you will be responsible for ensuring production efficiency and quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Maintain Assembly Processes: Design, implement, and maintain efficient assembly processes for new products, ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
  • Work Instruction Development and Training: Create and maintain work instructions for assembly team members, providing training and sign-off to ensure understanding and adherence.
  • Process Control and Quality Assurance: Maintain ongoing processes to ensure adherence to approved designs, processes, and quality control measures, reviewing engineering and manufacturing change documents for potential impacts.
  • Product Quality and Inspection: Ensure products meet customer requirements with minimal variation and ease of inspection, generating and maintaining Process Control Plans and FMEAs throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Process Improvement and Troubleshooting: Analyze metrics and indicators to determine opportunities for improvement, drive corrective and preventive actions to resolution, and manage fault investigation and troubleshooting of assembly and test equipment.
  • Team Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with internal and external parties to achieve project goals, demonstrating ethical and professional behavior in accordance with company values.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in engineering, 1-3 years of experience in a production/manufacturing environment, preferably final assembly.
  • Skills and Competencies: Analytical, problem-solving, communication, managing customer focus, teamwork, organization support, and Six Sigma Green Belt certification preferred.
Working Conditions

The work environment is a manufacturing facility with occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts, toxic or caustic chemicals, and risk of electrical shock. The employee will spend significant time in both office and manufacturing environments.
