Utility Billing Analyst

As a Utility Billing Analyst at GenSigma LLC, you will play a crucial role in managing and executing tenant utility billing calculations. This position is integral to ensuring accurate billing and reporting for various energy services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive billing calculations for utilities including electricity, gas, solar, water, and HVAC systems.
- Maintain high levels of client satisfaction by delivering exceptional service to both clients and their tenants.
- Address and resolve utility account discrepancies in collaboration with utility providers and billing agencies.
- Generate detailed energy performance reports and conduct analyses on consumption patterns and cost trends.
- Respond to specific client requests with tailored ad hoc reporting.
- Provide customers with information regarding their accounts and utility services, fostering positive relationships.
- Process all utility service payments, including those from overdue accounts.
- Prepare documentation for the legal department concerning collection processes.
- Identify and recommend accounts that may qualify for service suspension.
- Utilize independent judgment to make informed decisions regarding account modifications within established policies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Energy Management, Accounting, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related analytical field is preferred.
- Prior experience in a similar role with a solid understanding of accounting principles and energy calculations is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and report generation is essential, with the ability to handle large datasets.
- Strong client service skills with the capability to engage effectively with various organizational levels.
- Exceptional attention to detail coupled with strong time management and project management abilities.
