Position Overview:

The Fiscal Analyst plays a crucial role in financial planning and analysis, coordinating the compilation of statistical data to generate insightful financial reports. This position ensures that contract and grant billings are submitted accurately and punctually. The Fiscal Analyst provides support to the CFO and Senior Director while working under the guidance of the contract fiscal manager.

Key Responsibilities: 50% Financial Planning and Risk Management
  • Assist the CFO in the annual budget preparation cycle.
  • Contribute to the preparation of monthly financial reports.
  • Compile statistical data and service units to evaluate financial performance.
  • Monitor commercial and general liability insurance and maintain a roll-forward schedule.
  • Update and manage third-party contracts, including memoranda of understanding and agreements.
  • Coordinate with insurance brokers for timely renewals and issuance of Certificates of Insurance as required by contractual obligations.
Key Responsibilities: 50% Contracts Fiscal Management
  • Ensure accurate and timely submission of billings to government contracts and private grant funding agencies.
  • Maintain updates on FTE tracking and grant/contract matrices.
  • Monitor expenses and ensure compliance with authorized spending and budgetary allocations.
  • Validate service units, statistics, and metrics in collaboration with program managers to meet monthly revenue targets.
  • Process billing entries in the accounting system.
  • Gather and compile documentation to support billing requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including finance/accounting-billing, program, and development departments.
  • Execute additional assignments as needed to fulfill GLIDE's funding opportunities and monitor grant and contract budgets.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, economics, or accounting.
  • Proficiency in Excel, including graphs, tables, and visual presentations.
  • Ability to comprehend basic principles of obligations, contracts, accounting concepts, and government audits.
  • Highly motivated, organized, detail-oriented, with strong mathematical and budget planning skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and assignments while meeting deadlines.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills, adaptable to various circumstances.
  • Capability to work both independently and under supervision.
  • Professionalism, discretion, and a high level of accuracy while embracing the ONE GLIDE philosophy.

Compensation for this position ranges from $75,000 to $85,000 annually. This role is classified as non-exempt and is covered by the collective bargaining agreement.
