Position Overview:

The Fiscal Analyst plays a crucial role in financial planning and analysis, coordinating the collection of statistical data to generate meaningful financial reports. This position ensures that contract and grant billings are submitted accurately and in a timely manner. The Analyst provides support to the CFO and Senior Director while working under the guidance of the contract fiscal manager.

Key Responsibilities: 50% Financial Planning and Risk Management
  • Assists the CFO during the annual budget planning cycle.
  • Contributes to the preparation of monthly financial reports.
  • Compiles statistical data and service units to assess financial performance.
  • Monitors commercial and general liability insurance and maintains a roll-forward schedule.
  • Updates and maintains third-party contracts, including memoranda of understanding and agreements.
  • Collaborates with insurance brokers for timely renewal and issuance of Certificates of Insurance as required by contractual obligations.
Key Responsibilities: 50% Contracts Fiscal Management
  • Ensures accurate and timely submissions of billings to government contracts and private grant funding agencies.
  • Maintains FTE tracking and updates the grant/contract matrix.
  • Monitors expenses and tracks them against authorized spending and budgetary line items.
  • Validates service units, statistics, and metrics in collaboration with program managers to meet monthly revenue targets.
  • Processes billing entries into the accounting system.
  • Gathers and compiles documentation to support billing requirements.
  • Coordinates with other internal teams, including finance/accounting-billing, program, and development departments.
  • Undertakes additional assignments as needed to support GLIDE's funding opportunities and monitor grant and contract budgets.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, economics, or accounting.
  • Proficiency in Excel, including graphs, tables, and visual presentations.
  • Ability to comprehend basic principles of obligations, contracts, accounting concepts, and government audits.
  • Highly motivated, organized, detail-oriented, with strong mathematical and budget planning skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and assignments while meeting deadlines.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills, adaptable to various circumstances.
  • Ability to work independently as well as under supervision.
