Business Development Officer

At City National Bank, we're seeking a highly skilled Business Development Officer to join our team. As a key member of our commercial banking team, you'll be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building relationships with clients, and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute business development strategies to drive revenue growth and expand our client base
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions
  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify and pursue new business opportunities
  • Conduct market research and analysis to stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activity
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our products and services, and be able to articulate their value to clients
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of commercial banking experience, with a strong track record of business development and revenue growth
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of commercial credit policies and procedures, and bank operations policies and procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts to clients and internal stakeholders
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
