Job Summary

Catholic Charities of Los Angeles, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Client Resources Coordinator to assist and support higher-level Client Resource Coordinators and Managers in providing services to American Job Center of California and Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) participants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Eligibility Determination: Determine clients' eligibility for Agency programs or referral to government programs.
  • Job Readiness Workshops: Assist with conducting job readiness workshops to equip clients with essential skills and knowledge.
  • Needs Assessment and Referral: Access clients' needs and provide referrals for appropriate resources based on their requirements.
  • Application Support: Assist clients in completing and submitting application forms for government and other social service agencies.
  • Support Services: Provide support services to individuals residing in the community, including assistance with processing AJCC participants.
  • Community Resource Utilization: Locate and make use of appropriate community resources for clients.
  • Casework Administration: Assist with casework administration, including updating client contact logs and maintaining necessary files and statistical information on clients.
  • Client Orientations: Coordinate and assist in the preparation of client mass orientations.
  • Reporting and Data Analysis: Prepare reports and related analysis of data, including input and transmission of data.
  • Progress Monitoring: Monitor participants' progress reports and maintain confidentiality of client information and records.
Requirements
  • Education: Associate Degree (AA)
  • Experience: Six to twelve months of related experience
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of AJCC & WIOA preferred
  • Skills: Develop and maintain effective working relationships, excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to write clearly and informatively.
  • Commitment: Strong commitment and passion for AYE mission and services.
