Job Description and Duties

As a key member of the Department of Water Resources team, you will play a critical role in the management and maintenance of the State Water Project.

The successful candidate will assist with the civil Condition Assessment Program (CAP) for the State Water Project (SWP), coordinating and leading regular inspections of SWP civil features, preparing documentation and reports, and prioritizing inspection recommendations based on risk assessment and understanding of failures associated with various facilities.

You will collaborate and coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams, internal or external to the Department of Water Resources, to provide project management support and civil engineering expertise for planning, design, and construction projects along the SWP.
