Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled Manager of IS Risk & Compliance to oversee our corporate office operations. This pivotal role is essential for navigating the landscape of security and privacy regulations, establishing effective compliance measures, and managing technological risks.

The IS Risk & Compliance Manager will spearhead the development and execution of comprehensive Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) programs that protect the integrity of our operations and compliance protocols. You will lead a dedicated team of GRC professionals focused on evaluating and mitigating technology-related risks while ensuring compliance with audits and other regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and manage audit results and related data to efficiently respond to internal and external audit inquiries.
  • Develop and oversee reports and KPIs that reflect adherence to compliance frameworks and the status of technical risks.
  • Guide technical and business teams through audit processes, findings, and timelines, keeping stakeholders informed of progress and challenges.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance and address any non-compliance issues, presenting clear compliance and risk reports to senior management.
  • Formulate, implement, and revise internal compliance and risk management policies and procedures.
  • Lead teams with integrity and ethical business practices, in alignment with company policies.
  • Continuously monitor compliance with legal obligations and internal policies.
  • Assess the effectiveness of current risk management initiatives and propose enhancements.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external business contacts across various cultures and levels.
  • Support management in developing strategies focused on achieving results.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of seven to ten years of extensive experience in information security, compliance, audit, and risk management, with significant leadership experience.
Essential Skills & Certifications
  • Proficient in GRC tools and technologies.
  • Experience in crafting and implementing compliance policies tailored to organizational risks.
  • Strong background in audit methodologies and techniques.
  • Hands-on experience in conducting risk assessments and implementing mitigation strategies.
  • Familiarity with information security management frameworks such as ISO 2700x, NIST, and PCI DSS.
  • Solid understanding of privacy laws including GDPR, CPRA, and PIPL.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of conveying complex compliance issues to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Possession of relevant certifications (CISA, CISM, CRISC, CISSP, GIAC GSEC, CGEIT, or similar).
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to remain stationary for extended periods.
  • Capability to position oneself to maintain computers and network equipment.
  • Manual dexterity for data entry and interaction with computer systems.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in person and over the phone.
Additional Information
This position requires access to information or hardware subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Candidates must meet the definition of a U.S. Person as outlined by ITAR.
