Assist application teams in the effective utilization of threat intelligence within the designated tools and services.
Engage consistently with CIR and application teams in a collaborative manner to ensure comprehensive monitoring and accountability of all security logs.
Guide external teams in the optimal setup of security infrastructure relied upon by CIR, including Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS), phishing technologies, firewalls, and more.
Refine alerts generated from various cybersecurity tools.
Collaborate with Cybersecurity Incident Response (CIR) teams to uphold process governance and ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
Utilize security analytical platforms, Security Orchestration Automation and Response (SOAR), Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), and other detection and incident response technologies.
Develop operational playbooks and automate processes using SOAR technologies.
Create methodologies that empower non-security-focused teams to meet regulatory compliance.

Qualifications:

Strong grasp of cybersecurity principles, vulnerability assessment, and cyber threat intelligence.
Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or JavaScript.
Familiarity with Linux/Unix, BASH/PowerShell, and basic Windows administration.
Understanding of fundamental security controls and architecture.
Knowledge of networking concepts, services, and protocols.
Experience with SIEM, EDR, SOAR platforms, and big data technologies.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools.
Detail-oriented, well-organized, and capable of thriving in high-pressure environments while leveraging best practices and innovating solutions.
Able to independently resolve issues while also being open to collaborative efforts.
Capability to lead a small team of engineers to deliver sustainable, scalable, and resilient enterprise services.

Educational Background:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
