Job Summary

M.C. Dean is seeking a highly skilled Security Installation Project Manager to join our team in San Jose, CA. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the administration, organization, and implementation of large electronic security installation projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage project finances, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget.
  • Coordinate project kick-off meetings and ensure effective communication among team members.
  • Forecast cash flow and manpower needs to ensure project success.
  • Order materials, tools, and equipment as needed.
  • Prepare price proposals and change orders to ensure project profitability.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
  • Identify opportunities for cost-saving measures, quality improvement, and best practices implementation.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent, plus 8-10 years of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor's degree, plus 2-4 years of experience.
  • Master's degree, plus 0-2 years of experience.
  • Proven project management experience with security installation projects.
  • Proficiency in project scheduling software, including Microsoft Project or Smartsheet.
  • Experience managing project budgets and financials.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience performing project management duties on security installation projects.
  • Ability to prepare pricing documents for new work.
  • Financial management experience with security installation projects.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Working Conditions

This position requires flexibility to commute to project sites within the CA Bay Area. The position will be on-site, based in San Jose, CA. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work in different environments, including office and on-site settings.
