The Broadcast Media Installation Lead is tasked with overseeing a diverse range of installation responsibilities for technology projects within the audio-visual sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary on-site leader for installation tasks, ensuring that work is executed efficiently and effectively.
- Collaborate closely with project managers and construction teams to coordinate all on-site activities.
- Manage installation projects to ensure timely completion without disruptions.
- Provide guidance and support to installation teams, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
Essential Duties:
- Utilize advanced skills from the Senior Installation Technician role to drive project success and maintain quality control.
- Supervise all field operations, addressing any issues that arise to meet project timelines and quality benchmarks.
- Support various technologies, including video conferencing systems and control room equipment.
- Lead and delegate tasks to multiple installation crews and subcontractors.
- Ensure all work complies with established quality standards, conducting regular checks on installations.
- Read and interpret design drawings and diagrams to facilitate accurate installations.
- Maintain organized records of tools, materials, and project progress.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent experience.
- AVIXA CTS Certification is preferred; CTS-I Certification is highly encouraged.
- OSHA 30 Certification is desired.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in installation roles, preferably in a leadership capacity.
- Familiarity with a broad spectrum of broadcast and audio-visual equipment.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to customer service.
