Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Electronics Specialist to join our team at Trandes. As an Electronics Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting the Navy Air Traffic Control and Landing Systems Branch at Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific (NIWCPAC).

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical assistance in the analysis and resolution of deficiencies of the AN/URN-25 and associated equipment.
  • Conduct engineering and/or technical support functions as directed by assigned project managers.
  • Aid an installation team and handle major, minor, and multiple tasks.
Requirements
  • 6 years of recent, relevant experience associated with the installation, maintenance, and operation of the AN/URN-25 and AN/URN-32 TACAN, OX-52/URN-25 Transponder, AN/TRN-47 TACAN, and other Navy Air Traffic Control and Landing Systems.
  • Excellent inter-personal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with in-service engineering activity program/project managers, on-site airfield technicians and operational personnel as well as company engineers, technicians, and program/project managers.
  • Ability to lead by example and to communicate and demonstrate compliance with all of Trandes policies and procedures.
Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent and successful completion of a vocational, apprenticeship program in electronics or engineering technology OR
  • A graduate of a formal military technical school in electronics or engineering technology
Clearance
  • Ability to obtain/maintain a Secret Clearance and Common Access Card issued by the Defense Security Service.
