We are currently seeking a Housekeeping/Laundry Supervisor who will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and hygiene of our facility, which is essential for the recovery and well-being of our residents.

Position Details:

  • Full-time availability
  • Flexible scheduling options
Compensation Package:
  • Starting wage ranging from $16.00/hour to $21.00/hour, depending on experience
  • Eligibility for a comprehensive benefits package for employees working 24+ hours per week, including Paid Time Off, Health Insurance, Vision and Dental Insurance, 401K, access to a Free Health Care clinic, and discounts on pharmacy services and other offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the planning, direction, and management of the facility's sanitation program.
  • Direct, assign, and supervise the housekeeping and laundry staff.
  • Perform regular housekeeping duties as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness in resident rooms, bathrooms, and communal areas.
  • Collaborate with staff to ensure timely completion of tasks and inspect finished work.
  • Train new employees on cleaning techniques and protocols.
  • Manage inventory of materials and equipment.
  • Assist in ordering and distributing supplies.
  • Keep accurate records and complete necessary reports.
  • Adhere to Universal Precautions and utilize appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures related to infection control.
  • Supervise employees in the Housekeeping and Laundry Department.
  • Conduct supervisory responsibilities in alignment with organizational policies and applicable laws.
  • Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, training, scheduling, and evaluating staff performance.
Qualifications:
  • Experience in housekeeping.
  • Preferred supervisory and healthcare experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Outlook.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
