Key Responsibilities:
1. **Supervision and Management:**
- Oversee the planning, direction, and execution of the sanitation program throughout the facility.
- Direct and assign tasks to the housekeeping and laundry teams, ensuring efficient workflow.
2. **Hands-On Duties:**
- Perform regular housekeeping tasks in the absence of staff.
- Clean resident rooms, bathrooms, and communal areas to uphold high cleanliness standards.
3. **Training and Development:**
- Instruct new hires on proper cleaning techniques and safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate records and complete necessary reports related to staff performance and tasks.
4. **Safety and Compliance:**
- Ensure adherence to Universal Precautions and proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Follow all organizational policies and procedures related to infection control.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in housekeeping is required.
- Supervisory experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook is necessary.
- A high school diploma or GED is required.
