Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Cook to join our team at Perkins Restaurants. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our kitchen, ensuring that our high standards of quality and service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee Kitchen Operations: Manage the preparation and cooking of menu items, ensuring that they are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Maintain Inventory: Monitor and control food and equipment inventories, ensuring that we have the necessary supplies to meet customer demand.
  • Ensure Food Safety: Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations.
  • Lead the Kitchen Team: Supervise and motivate our kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are able to perform their duties to the best of their ability.
Requirements
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
  • Skills: Excellent culinary skills, strong leadership and communication skills, ability to work well under pressure.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required, culinary degree or certification preferred.
