Position Overview:

The Bronx Brewery East Village is seeking enthusiastic Front of House Team members to contribute to our vibrant brewery, taproom, and kitchen environment. This role will primarily be based in a bustling urban setting, with opportunities for training and occasional responsibilities at other locations.

Key Responsibilities:

The selected candidate will play a vital role in ensuring that patrons enjoy a remarkable and unforgettable experience at our establishment. As a Front of House Team Member, you will be tasked with:

  • Providing exceptional guest service by warmly welcoming and assisting visitors.
  • Offering knowledgeable recommendations on beer, beverages, and food pairings.
  • Performing essential opening and closing tasks, including setting up and maintaining service areas.
  • Accurately handling financial transactions and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Demonstrating a thorough understanding of our beer offerings and the brewing process.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization in all guest-facing areas.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in the hospitality sector is preferred.
  • Dependability and punctuality are crucial.
  • Professional demeanor and appearance are required.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, ideally in both English and Spanish.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items.
  • Cicerone certification is advantageous and can be pursued post-hire.
  • Possession of a current Food Handlers License or equivalent certification is preferred.
