We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Sales Representative to join our team at Atlas Copco. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for consultative sales of capital equipment in a multi-state region to support primary paper producers.

You will prepare and deliver technical presentations to explain a value proposition to varying levels of an organization, including the return on investment. You will research and prospect new potential customers within your territory, working with the customers and internal engineering team to ensure the equipment meets the customer requirements.

You will establish communication channels with current and prospective customers, identify key account decision makers, and build strategic relationships. You will help our customers with solving complex automation challenges, recommend new and improved products, and explain how the equipment will be more cost-effective.

Achieving sales targets and gross margin is crucial, as well as creating a yearly business plan that outlines key growth plans, strategic goals, and tactics for the assigned territory. You will maintain all customer and opportunity information in CRM software, provide forecasts and budgets, and offer market feedback and competition benchmark information to marketing and product development teams.

This role requires 3+ years of experience selling automation, preferably into paper mills, and a bachelor's degree in engineering, marketing, business administration, or a related field. You must have experience establishing communication and engagement with prospects, interpersonal, customer service, and sales acumen. The ability to relate technical information to non-technical customers is essential, as well as technical competence and a solutions mindset.
