Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager, Human Resources to join our team at Western Digital. As a key member of our HR leadership team, you will be responsible for leading a team of HR professionals in building and implementing strategic HR initiatives that drive business results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Develop and lead a high-performing HR team that provides expert guidance and support to business leaders and employees across the organization.
  • Strategic HR Initiatives: Collaborate with business leaders to design and implement HR strategies that drive business outcomes, improve employee engagement, and enhance organizational performance.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations, and identify and mitigate potential risks to the organization.
  • Employee Development: Design and deliver training programs that develop the skills and competencies of HR professionals and business leaders, and support the development of a high-performing workforce.
  • Change Management: Lead organizational change initiatives that drive business results, improve employee engagement, and enhance organizational performance.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Develop and maintain effective relationships with business leaders, employees, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and collaboration across the organization.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience: In Human Resources or a related field, with a proven track record of success in leading HR teams and implementing strategic HR initiatives.
  • Leadership and Management: Proven ability to lead and manage high-performing teams, and to develop and implement effective HR strategies that drive business results.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with business leaders, employees, and other stakeholders.
  • Business Acumen: Strong business acumen, with the ability to understand and analyze business data and trends, and to develop and implement HR strategies that drive business results.
  • Strategic Thinking: Proven ability to think strategically, and to develop and implement HR strategies that align with the organization's overall business objectives.
