Role Overview

At Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation (SMBC), we are seeking a dedicated Ticket & Hospitality Coordinator to oversee and manage all aspects of ticketing and hospitality for client entertainment events. This includes a variety of occasions such as sporting events, concerts, and special gatherings within the Americas Division.

Key Responsibilities
  • Independently coordinate ticketing and hospitality management for corporate sponsorships and events.
  • Implement policies and procedures related to ticketing and events that align with business strategies and compliance regulations.
  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, internal partners, and external vendors to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Adhere to internal processes and best practices while managing reporting, tracking, and data reconciliation.
  • Effectively utilize internal vendor technology systems and request updates as necessary.
  • Prepare and disseminate internal communications to promote events and solicit participation.
  • Collaborate with vendors and venues to ensure contract terms are met and timely updates are provided.
  • Develop and manage an employee recognition ticket program.
  • Proactively seek opportunities for process improvement to enhance client service.
  • Assist with event-related tasks such as compiling attendee lists, generating reports, creating invitations, and providing onsite support.
Qualifications and Skills
  • 1-3 years of experience in ticket and hospitality management or event support.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in navigating various technology systems and platforms.
  • Ability to engage and build relationships with individuals at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and manage conflicting priorities.
  • Effective problem-solving skills and sound judgment in escalating situations.
  • Fluency in office productivity software, including MS Office Suite.
Work Environment

SMBC operates under a hybrid workforce model, allowing employees to work from home and from the office. Candidates should reside within a reasonable commuting distance to their office location.
