Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a Counter Sales Associate who is enthusiastic, approachable, and possesses excellent customer service skills. This role is vital in ensuring our customers receive exceptional service while keeping our workspace organized and efficient.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver outstanding customer service
- Assess customer requirements and provide appropriate products and solutions
- Process and manage customer orders
- Oversee Open Orders and customer Bids
- Retrieve orders from the warehouse for customer fulfillment
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the counter area
Physical Requirements:
Associates in this role will be required to handle substantial items such as water heaters and HVAC units.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Strong customer service orientation
- Proficient in computer usage
- Ability to stand for extended periods during an 8-hour shift
- Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of HVAC and/or Plumbing
- Experience operating forklifts
- Familiarity with RF Scanners
- Previous warehouse experience
