Propulsion Systems Engineer

About This RoleThis role is a key part of our team's effort to develop and operate New Glenn, a single-configuration heavy-lift launch vehicle capable of routinely carrying people and payloads to Earth's orbit and beyond. As a Propulsion Systems Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, analyzing, developing, and qualifying propellant systems for our reusable launch vehicle.

Key Responsibilities- Design, analysis, development, and qualification of propellant systems on a re-usable launch vehicle
- Share in the team's impact on all aspects of detailed mechanical design, requirements, layouts, structural analysis, component selection, modeling, drafting, manufacturing, and test definition
As part of a hardworking team of diverse engineers, you will work on designing and developing complex propulsion systems for our reusable launch vehicle. You will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of these systems, which is critical to the success of our mission.
Requirements- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or equivalent
- 7+ years of proven experience in the design of fluid systems
- Experience in 3D CAD programs (Creo preferred)
We are looking for someone with a strong background in mechanical engineering and a proven track record of designing complex fluid systems. If you have experience with 3D CAD programs and a solid understanding of fluid components, we encourage you to apply.
The estimated annual salary for this position is $140,000 - $185,000 based on location and experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, basic and supplemental life insurance, paid parental leave, short and long-term disability, 401(k) with a company match of up to 5%, and an Education Support Program.
