Accounting Specialist Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Specialist to join our team at Propulsion Systems Inc. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to apply their skills in a dynamic role.

Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate and timely financial statements, including profit & loss (P&L) and balance sheet.
• Prepare and manage tax payments, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
• Reconcile credit card expense accounts for traveling mechanics, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes, ensuring timely payment and collection of invoices.
• Manage multistate payroll, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
• Conduct job cost analyses to optimize financial performance.
• Invoice service work and ensure accurate tracking of revenue.

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience as a Bookkeeper, with a strong background in financial management and accounting principles.
• Fundamental knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Excellent QuickBooks skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and deadline-oriented approach.
