Full-Charge Accounting Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Accountant/Full-charge Bookkeeper to join our finance team at Propulsion Systems Inc. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to take on a challenging role and make a significant impact on our company's financial performance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Financial Statement Preparation: Maintain accurate and timely financial statements, including P&L and balance sheet.
• Tax Management: Prepare and manage tax payments, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
• Expense Reconciliation: Reconcile credit card expense accounts for traveling mechanics, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Accounts Management: Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes, ensuring timely payment and collection of invoices.
• Multistate Payroll: Manage multistate payroll, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
• Job Cost Analysis: Conduct job cost analyses to optimize financial performance.
• Invoicing: Invoice service work and ensure accurate tracking of revenue.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience as a Bookkeeper, with a strong background in financial management and accounting principles.
• Fundamental knowledge of GAAP.
• Excellent QuickBooks skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and deadline-oriented approach.
