Job Overview

The House Attendant plays a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness and aesthetic appeal of the hotel's public spaces. Key responsibilities may include:

  • Thoroughly cleaning designated areas as per hotel standards.
  • Setting up and maintaining complimentary lobby services, including coffee stations and evening concierge events.
  • Preparing meeting rooms and delivering requested items to guest rooms.
  • Operating the shuttle van when required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain cleanliness in hallways, elevators, and assigned areas.
  • Deliver items such as luggage and amenities to guest rooms as needed.
  • Assist with nightly concierge events and meeting room setups.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards at all times.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred, along with experience in hospitality or a related field.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and clearly.
  • Quick decision-making skills in high-pressure situations.
  • Maintain professionalism and composure under stress.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Daily cleaning and buffing of floors according to hotel standards.
  • Shampooing carpets and furniture in public areas as necessary.
  • Regular maintenance of public restrooms.
  • Handling luggage assistance requests in a friendly and efficient manner.
  • Practicing safe work habits to ensure the safety of guests and colleagues.
  • Managing lost and found items according to hotel policies.
  • Completing daily assignment checklists and submitting them to supervisors.
