Key Responsibilities

The individual in this role is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of hallways, elevators, and assigned areas. Additional duties may involve:

  • Delivering items such as luggage, irons, and coffee to guest rooms as directed
  • Assisting with evening concierge events and cleaning meeting spaces
  • Responding to requests for service items from guests
  • Driving the shuttle van when necessary

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates should possess:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent, with experience in a hotel or related field preferred
  • A valid driver's license for the applicable state and a satisfactory driving record
  • The ability to communicate information and ideas effectively
  • Strong decision-making skills and the ability to act quickly and accurately
  • The capacity to work well under pressure and maintain composure

Responsibilities Include:

  • Adhering to Aimbridge Hospitality standards and regulations to promote safe and efficient hotel operations
  • Daily cleaning and buffing of floors in accordance with hotel standards
  • Shampooing carpets and furniture in public areas as needed
  • Regular maintenance of public restrooms
  • Handling luggage assistance requests in a friendly and efficient manner
  • Practicing safe work habits to ensure the safety of guests and colleagues
  • Managing lost and found items according to company policies
  • Returning all keys and assignment sheets at the end of the shift
  • Completing daily task checklists and submitting them to a supervisor
  • Performing additional tasks as assigned by management
