Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough research to identify potential solar project sites, considering factors like land availability, solar potential, infrastructure, and zoning.
  • Verify property ownership, assess easements, and identify environmental constraints through title searches and site evaluations.
  • Negotiate lease or purchase agreements with landowners to secure project development sites.
  • Develop and finalize lease and purchase agreements, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with project teams, utility companies, and consultants to facilitate site-specific requirements and ensure project success.
  • Maintain accurate records of site acquisition activities and develop a portfolio of potential sites for future projects.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in real estate, business, environmental science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in real estate, land acquisition, or site development, preferably in renewable energy.
  • Strong knowledge of real estate law, zoning regulations, and environmental permitting.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to interpret technical documents and reports.
  • Proficiency in project management software and GIS tools.
