Senior Project Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Manager of Commercial Project Managers to lead our project management team within the Commercial Operations Division. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, leadership, and strategic planning, with a proven track record of driving operational excellence and fostering a culture of accountability and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance and support to the Project Management team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Mentor and develop Project Managers by providing constructive feedback, facilitating training opportunities, and promoting continuous improvement.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for project delivery, ensuring projects meet quality, budget, and timeline standards.
- Ensure project compliance with industry standards and safety regulations, while overseeing quality assurance processes and managing audits.
- Create yearly overhead budgets for the Project Management team, and track budget performance against the approved plan.
- Provide oversight of ERP, software, and systems used by the Project management team.
- Evaluate and refine project management processes and methodologies in conjunction with other commercial managers to enhance efficiency and effectiveness across the division.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align project management strategies with overall business objectives and drive long-term growth.
- Serve as a liaison between the project management team and other departments, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Identify potential risks within project management processes and develop strategies to avoid, minimize, or mitigate them, ensuring projects remain on track.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree, with preference in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- PMP or equivalent certification preferred.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in project management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role overseeing a team.
- Strong leadership skills with proven ability to inspire and lead teams, fostering a culture of accountability and performance excellence.
- Excellent project management skills, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex situations and develop actionable strategies.
- Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Office, MS Project, Acumatica, Smartsheets, and Procore) and familiar with EPC contract management.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
