Job Summary

As an Environmental Data Acquisition Specialist at SCS Engineers, you will play a critical role in providing administrative and technical support to users, serving as the main liaison between customers and the Product Management and Engineering teams. This involves preparing, finalizing, and distributing client reports, managing escalated issues, ensuring compliance with landfill GCCS regulatory requirements, conducting beta testing for new software updates, and contributing to the development and lifecycle management of new products.

Key Responsibilities

Provide administration support for environmental data acquisition
Maintain and implement knowledge of Federal, State, and Local Regulatory Agency rules and regulations
Develop, maintain, and implement procedures related to SCS' Quality Management System and related QA/QC activities
Conduct SCSeTools iteration and new module testing, providing supporting analytical documentation to the SCSeTools Support manager
Conduct SCSeTools initiations and familiarization training webinars
Establish and maintain good working relationships with all levels of management and end users
Solicit customer and staff feedback to identify, develop, and implement standard processes and procedures to improve actual service level
Provide communication and follow-up to ensure representatives are fully informed of all new information related to products, procedures, customer needs, and company-related issues, changes, or actions
Implement a true shared services team, cross-trained across multiple business units
Develop and implement upsell and sales recovery processes

Requirements

Bachelor's degree preferred
Minimum of 1 year compliance OM&M experience gained through practical experience and extensive knowledge of Federal, State, and Local Rules and Regulations preferred
Minimum of 1 year of customer services experience required
Excellent communication skills, ability to manage deadlines, positive outgoing personality, and the ability to interface well with employees, clients, regulatory staff, vendors, and the public
Ability to read and understand Federal, State, and Local Regulatory Agency rules and regulations
Able to work with limited supervision; must be highly organized and detail-oriented
Knowledge of Windows-based word-processing, spreadsheet, database, and presentation software
