Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Business Development Manager to lead our strategic growth initiatives within the safety and industrial supplies sector. This individual will play a critical role in driving top-line sales, expanding market share, and fostering strong customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Sales Growth: Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to achieve revenue and growth objectives. Identify new business opportunities, expand existing accounts, and penetrate new markets within the safety and industrial supply industry.
  • Customer Acquisition: Lead efforts to acquire high-value customers by establishing and nurturing relationships with key decision-makers in target industries.
  • Market Expansion: Analyze market trends and competitive dynamics to identify growth opportunities. Work closely with internal teams to align product offerings and solutions with customer needs and market demands.
  • Sales Leadership: Drive the sales process from prospecting to closing, ensuring consistent achievement of sales targets and revenue growth.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Provide regular updates to senior management on sales performance, market insights, and forecasts. Use data-driven insights to refine business development strategies and improve overall effectiveness.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum 10+ years of proven success in business development, preferably within the safety and industrial supply industry or related sectors.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the safety and industrial supply market, including key trends, customer needs, solutions, and competitive landscape.
  • Track Record: Demonstrated ability to consistently meet or exceed sales targets and revenue goals.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team collaboration skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive results.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and implement innovative sales strategies that align with the company's overall business objectives.
  • Communication: Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior executives and key stakeholders.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
  • Location: Remote

Compensation: $85k-$98k plus commission. Pay is based on several factors, including labor markets, education, skills, work experience, and certifications. Eligible for an annual incentive bonus, dependent on organizational performance.
