Job Overview

SIM Surgical is seeking a highly skilled Sales Representative to join our team. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our growth strategy, strengthening and maintaining strong relationships between customers and SIM Surgical.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive Sales Growth: Implement strategies for conversion, penetration, and retention to achieve profitable sales growth within the customer base.
  • Market and Customer Analysis: Conduct detailed analyses of customers' market strategies, supply chain structures, and product development processes.
  • Manage Customer Activity: Oversee all customer-related activities to sustain existing business and expand sales across current and new product lines.
  • Build Strong Relationships: Cultivate and maintain relationships at all levels within the customer's organization to ensure their needs are fully addressed.
  • Customer Prospecting: Engage in deep customer prospecting within key accounts to understand their needs from R&D to production.
  • Collaborate with Internal Teams: Work closely with manufacturing and quality teams to deliver exceptional customer service and communication.
  • Customer Presentations: Prepare and deliver tailored presentations, effectively leading customer meetings and communications.
  • Customer Engagement: Regularly visit customer locations to maintain and strengthen relationships with key contacts and prospects.
  • Reporting and Communication: Plan, prepare, and present reports on account progress, goals, and quarterly initiatives to plant, executive teams, and other stakeholders.
  • Forecasting: Continuously create and update sales forecasts.
  • Contract Negotiation: Negotiate customer contracts to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Pipeline Management: Generate and manage pipeline opportunities to meet business objectives and sales targets.
  • Industry Engagement: Participate in industry tradeshows and conferences to stay informed and connected.
Requirements
  • Excellent Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex customer data and develop effective sales strategies.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with customers and internal teams.
  • Ability to Travel: Ability to travel domestically and internationally (50%).
  • Goal-Oriented: Goal-oriented, organized team player with a strong ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
  • Self-Motivated: Self-motivated and self-directed with a strong ability to work independently.
  • Proficient in Office Suite: Proficient with Office suite products.
  • Complex Issue Handling: Ability to handle complex issues in a professional and calm manner.
  • Strong Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation skills with the ability to follow-through on customer contracts.
  • Proven Results: Proven results of delivering customer solutions and meeting sales goals.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, sales, or relevant field is required.
  • Experience: 3+ years of technical sales experience in a manufacturing environment and 5+ years of previous work experience in sales or strategic account management.
