Job ResponsibilitiesAs a Sales Counter Representative, you will be responsible for providing assistance with counter sales and delivering outstanding customer service.
- Address customer inquiries regarding accounts, products, pricing, and services through both phone and in-person interactions.
- Engage with customers at the counter and over the phone to thoroughly assess their needs, respond to questions, and provide effective solutions.
- Process orders, quote prices, input orders into the system, and relay order information to customers. Pull orders as necessary.
- Communicate product features, advantages, and warranty information to customers.
- Exhibit knowledge of products and their applications, offering technical guidance, troubleshooting, and resolving customer issues.
- Promote additional sales by identifying related products, suggesting add-ons, and informing customers about ongoing promotions.
- Ensure that merchandise displays are well-stocked and maintained.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
This position is situated in a comfortable indoor setting, with infrequent exposure to unpleasant conditions. Most tasks are performed while seated comfortably, with opportunities for movement throughout the day. Occasionally, there may be a requirement to lift or move light items. Overnight travel is typically less than 10% of the time.
QualificationsA high school diploma or GED is strongly preferred, with specialized skills training or certification potentially required. Generally, 2-5 years of relevant experience is expected.
