As a Retail Operations Leader, you will oversee all aspects of store operations to optimize sales performance while embodying the core values of Burlington. Your leadership will be pivotal in fostering a culture of trust, respect, and integrity within your team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Directly manage and guide Assistant Managers, Supervisors, and Store Associates to ensure adherence to company policies and operational standards.
  • Ensure that Assistant Managers and team members are effectively fulfilling their roles and responsibilities.
  • Collaborate with the Assistant Store Manager in Merchandising to strategize merchandise placement, sales promotions, and pricing.
  • Work alongside the Assistant Store Manager in Operations to verify inventory accuracy through managing receiving, transfers, and returns.
  • Oversee a multi-million dollar sales volume and budget, including meticulous reporting and record-keeping.
  • Lead recruitment and hiring processes to meet staffing requirements.
  • Facilitate onboarding and training for new team members, providing ongoing coaching and development opportunities.
  • Address personnel and associate relations matters as they arise.
  • Manage payroll budgets, workforce management, and scheduling.
  • Encourage effective communication and collaboration between store teams and regional management.
  • Perform additional tasks as necessary.

Candidates should possess a minimum of 5 years of retail management experience in a large-scale or specialty environment and be flexible with their availability, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Proficiency in computerized scheduling and reporting software is essential, and occasional travel may be required.
