G-ED UP ENTERTAINMENT, LLC is a dynamic multimedia and entertainment company seeking an experienced Director of Human Capital and Organizational Development to lead the development and implementation of its human resources strategy. This role offers a unique opportunity for a visionary HR leader to play a key role in shaping the company's culture and workforce.

As part of our executive team, you will have the opportunity to design and implement comprehensive HR strategies to support business growth, including recruitment, talent management, employee engagement, and performance evaluation systems. You will also be responsible for establishing and maintaining HR policies and procedures in alignment with local, state, and federal regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • HR Strategy Development: Develop and implement strategic HR plans to support business objectives and drive organizational growth.
  • Policy and Compliance: Create and maintain HR policies and procedures that align with regulatory requirements and promote a positive work environment.
  • Talent Management: Oversee recruitment and onboarding processes to attract top talent and foster a collaborative workplace culture.
  • Employee Relations: Develop initiatives to enhance communication, resolve conflicts, and strengthen team morale.
  • Training and Development: Design professional development programs to enhance team skills and align employee growth with company goals.
  • Leadership Collaboration: Work closely with the CEO, COO, and other executives to align HR practices with organizational objectives and drive business success.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a senior HR leadership role, ideally as a CHRO or HR Director, within a growing company.
  • Strong understanding of employment law, HR compliance, and best practices for recruitment and talent development.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build systems, policies, and procedures from scratch.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be local to Los Angeles, CA for in-person collaboration and team engagement.
  • Must be willing to submit to a background check.
  • Experience in media, entertainment, or creative industries is a plus.

Compensation: $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
