Job Summary:

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Operations Manager to lead our Behavioral Health team in the Greater Puget Sound Area. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of our clinical practice teams and services, ensuring optimal delivery of safe, appropriate, accessible care and service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operational Excellence: Manage the daily operations of assigned clinical practice teams and services, ensuring optimal delivery of safe, appropriate, accessible care and service.
  • Financial Stewardship: Manage within resources allocated, making operational adjustments as needed to meet financial targets.
  • Continuous Improvement: Implement complex change and improvements associated with access management, clinical quality, safety standards, and service excellence.
  • Staff Engagement and Development: Manage staff, including selection, training, and development, performance management, recognition, discipline, and termination.
  • Compliance and Emergency Preparedness: Ensure ongoing compliance and adherence to KP policy/procedure, as well as other compliance, regulatory, accreditation, and institutional requirements.
Requirements:
  • Minimum two (2) years of post-masters experience as a therapist.
  • Minimum one (1) year of management or supervisory experience in a clinical environment.
  • Masters degree in behavioral health science.
  • Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (Washington) required at hire OR Mental Health Counselor License (Washington) required at hire OR Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (Washington) required at hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Five (5) years of post-masters experience as a therapist.
  • Three (3) years of management or supervisory experience in a clinical environment.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements, managed care, and health care delivery systems.
