Job Title: Human Resources Representative

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a high level of organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities. As a Human Resources Representative, you will be responsible for reviewing, processing, and maintaining personnel transactions, as well as serving as a Group Insurance Preparer, Retirement Coordinator, and Worker's Compensation Coordinator.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and process personnel transactions, ensuring proper execution and completeness prior to submission to Central Office personnel for approval/disapproval.
  • Serve as a Group Insurance Preparer, responsible for administering group insurance benefits.
  • Maintain personnel files for employees, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Serve as a Retirement Coordinator, advising and administering retirement services.
  • Serve as the Worker's Compensation Coordinator, responsible for managing worker's compensation claims.
Requirements:
  • Requires knowledge, skill, and mental development equivalent to completion of four (4) years of college AND one (1) year of professional experience, preferably in human resources.
  • Prefers at least one (1) year of experience working with Personnel Code, Rules, Position Classification Plans, Pay Plans, and Collective Bargaining Contracts.
  • Prefers at least one (1) year of work experience in a human resources position.
