Job Summary

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) is seeking a highly skilled and organized Program Coordinator to join our team. This role will provide administrative support to the Division Director, Division Administrator, and faculty members in the Division of Palliative Care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide primary administrative support to the Director of the Hospice and Palliative Care, including transcription, mail preparation, and answering phones.
  • Assist with planning, organizing, and coordinating special projects, functions, meetings, and events.
  • Arrange travel and meetings, and organize itineraries for the Director and faculty members.
  • Maintain and manage calendars for the Palliative Care Director and faculty members.
  • Create and update the monthly on-call schedule for the Division's clinical faculty, fellows, residents, and rotating students.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field, plus two years of business administration experience, or an Associate's degree plus four years of administrative or program coordination experience, or a High School diploma plus six years of administrative or program coordination experience.
  • Medical office experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook preferred.
