Job OverviewAt Ford's Hometown Services, we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our dynamic accounting team. As a key member of our financial team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our financial records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Management: Utilize QuickBooks Desktop Pro 2022 to manage financial transactions, reconcile bank statements, and ensure timely payments.
  • Accounting Tasks: Efficiently manage journal entries, understand debits and credits, and make adjustments as needed.
  • Payroll and Reporting: Assist in weekly payroll activities, generate accounting reports, and provide critical financial insights for executive analysis and strategic planning.
  • Accounting Principles: Strong knowledge of accrual-based accounting and GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) is essential.
  • Confidentiality and Integrity: Demonstrate reliability and integrity in handling sensitive financial information.
  • Education and Experience: Minimum of Associates degree in Accounting and 2 years of Bookkeeping experience (QuickBooks experience preferred). Payroll experience would be helpful.
