Lead Research Scientist

We are seeking a Senior Research Associate or Associate Scientist to contribute to our innovative research initiatives. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in executing assays aimed at discovering potential small molecule therapies across various therapeutic areas. Additionally, this position involves supporting the validation of novel biological targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with colleagues to design and validate new experimental assays
- Develop cellular models for screening and disease-related studies
- Ensure that project milestones are achieved and objectives are met
- Engage in project planning and implementation
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with 4-6 years or Master's degree with 2-4 years of pertinent research experience
- Proficiency in designing, developing, and optimizing cellular and biochemical assays
- Practical experience in cell and molecular biology methodologies
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively
Desirable Skills:
- Familiarity with small molecules, ligands, and therapeutics
- Experience with CRISPR screening techniques
- Knowledge of targeted protein degradation
- Background in neuroscience and/or immunology
Compensation Range: $80,400 to $105,525
