Summary

Key Responsibilities:
Manage shift operations and supervise teams of workers; oversee a management staff of 4-5.
Collaborate with the General Manager, Assistant General Manager, and Operations Manager on various shifts to enhance operational efficiency.
Conduct pre-shift meetings with the management team to strategize for the upcoming shift.
Ensure that production goals and labor targets are met during the shift.
Prepare and distribute shift reports detailing performance and the reasons for achieving or not achieving goals.
Provide guidance and support to supervisors regarding personnel, quality, and safety matters.
Address employee relations issues and collaborate with HR to develop sustainable solutions.
Hold daily meetings with team members and direct reports to communicate changes, policies, and procedural updates.
Encourage open communication between shifts and departments to foster teamwork and achieve common objectives.
Promote a positive workplace culture through effective verbal communication, active listening, and adherence to company standards.
Create and implement a daily shift planner to maximize efficiency and ensure adequate coverage across all departments.
Develop and implement operational methods and procedures aimed at eliminating issues and enhancing process quality.
Coordinate distribution activities to optimize the use of human resources, warehouse management systems, and equipment.
Assist team members in understanding and connecting with our vision, mission, strategy, and business priorities.
Ensure the safety of all team members by promoting and exemplifying safety protocols.
Be prepared for overtime during peak periods (including an additional 8-hour shift on Sunday nights).
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years in a supervisory role, ideally within a distribution center or warehouse environment.
At least 1-2 years of operational experience in a warehouse, distribution, or logistics setting.
Demonstrated effective communication skills with associates, management, and executive staff.
Experience in creating and executing shift plans.
Basic understanding of mathematics and proficiency in Excel formulas.
Awareness of the significance of process control in business operations.
Adaptable and open to change.
Strong problem-solving abilities.
Familiarity with Warehouse Management Software for tracking and resolving order issues.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, as well as Google Suite and Gmail.
Previous experience or knowledge of Workday is preferred.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to procedures while exercising sound judgment and consistent management practices.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand or walk for 8-12 hours.
Capable of pushing, pulling, bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching both below and above the waist.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Shift Details:
1st shift
Shift Days: Monday - Friday
Shift Hours: Regular Schedule: 7:00 am - 3:30 pm
Overtime: Additional 8-hour Sunday night shift from 10:00 pm - 6:30 am

3rd shift
Shift Days: Monday night - Thursday night
Shift Hours: Regular Schedule: 8:00 pm - 6:30 am
Overtime: Additional 8-hour Sunday night shift from 10:00 pm - 6:30 am
This position requires arriving at least 30 minutes before the start of the shift for a pre-shift meeting.
