This pivotal role entails managing a production team during the designated shift. You will be responsible for the operation and upkeep of digital printing and fulfillment machinery. The ideal candidate will exhibit independence and strong communication abilities. Establishing solid relationships with all teams at Mad Engine is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proven experience in inventory management and production oversight is required.
- Supervise the assigned shift, overseeing stock pickers, press operators, quality assurance personnel, warehouse staff, and fulfillment teams.
Experience in manufacturing or production, especially in the apparel or offset printing sectors, is highly desirable. A new hire should find the technology straightforward to understand.
- Adhere to the production schedule established by the Production Planning Manager.
- Ensure that product standards and quality control measures are effectively implemented.
- Conduct regular partial physical inventory audits to maintain record accuracy.
Duties & Requirements:
- Assist distribution and warehouse staff as needed.
- Operate production machinery as required, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
- Lead and inspire staff, evaluate performance, and identify training requirements.
- Manage team schedules and timekeeping.
- Forklift operation and occasional travel may be necessary.
Skills Needed:
- 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing; independent supervision and planning capabilities are crucial.
- Basic mechanical and equipment troubleshooting skills are necessary.
- Strong organizational abilities, multitasking skills, and the capacity to work autonomously.
- Excellent communication skills, proficiency in data organization, and effective time management.
- Proficiency in the MS Office suite and familiarity with ERP or MRP systems.
- A self-motivated individual with a cost-conscious mindset and strong initiative.
