Position Overview:
The Senior Account Executive plays a pivotal role in driving sales initiatives within the public sector. This position is primarily focused on maintaining existing client relationships while identifying opportunities for growth through contract enhancements and the introduction of innovative products and services. Engaging with C-level executives, you will craft and execute a comprehensive strategy that maximizes the value of Gartner's offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage client accounts to enhance satisfaction, retention, and growth.
- Responsible for achieving a quota exceeding $800,000 in contract value across a designated territory of key accounts.
- Exhibit mastery in executing Gartner's established sales methodologies.
- Conduct thorough account planning and territory management.
- Ensure accurate forecasting on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Maintain a strong understanding of competitive landscape and market trends.
- Possess in-depth knowledge of Gartner's suite of products and services.
Qualifications:
- 8-15 years of proven experience in consultative sales, ideally within high technology sectors (services, software, or consulting), demonstrating a track record of success.
- Exhibit strong intellect, drive, executive presence, and sales expertise.
- Demonstrated ability to cultivate strong relationships with C-level executives in large enterprises.
- Proficient in computer applications and skilled in delivering presentations.
- Comprehensive understanding of the complete sales process lifecycle.
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree is preferred.
