HR Generalist Role Overview

We're seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join our team at Dekko. As an HR Generalist, you'll play a key role in ensuring that our HR practices are consistent and effective.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Employee Relations: Serve as the primary HR contact for employees, addressing concerns, resolving conflicts, and fostering a positive work environment.
  • Recruitment & Onboarding: Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for the plant and assist with recruiting efforts for other locations as needed.
  • FMLA and Benefits Administration: Administer FMLA processes, ensuring compliance with all federal and state regulations, and serve as the primary contact for employees regarding their benefits.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations across both locations.
  • Training & Development: Coordinate and deliver training programs for employees and managers to enhance skills and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • HR Reporting: Maintain HR records, generate reports, and analyze data to support decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Performance Management: Support managers in conducting performance reviews, setting goals, and developing action plans for employee growth.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field strongly preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in an HR Generalist role.
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
  • Proficiency in HR software, Workday experience a plus and Microsoft Office Suite.
