Human Resources Specialist

We're looking for a talented Human Resources Specialist to join our team and help us maintain our high standards.
Responsibilities:
- Stay up-to-date on the latest trends, best practices, and regulatory changes in human resources and employment law.
- Assist with workers' compensation claims and ensure compliance with California and federal labor laws.
- Support open enrollment for health benefits and leave of absence administration.
- Help new hires with paperwork, benefits enrollment, and acclimation to company policies.
- Support compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Collect and analyze information to compare our HR practices to industry standards.
- Identify training needs and coordinate employee development programs.
- Perform other business-related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in a related position.
- Spanish speaking is required, with reading and writing skills preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and move medium to large objects weighing up to 75 lbs.
- Must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- Required to stand, walk, and stoop, kneel, crouch.
Working Hours:
- Full-time position, 6:30am-3pm, Monday-Friday.
- This is an on-site position.
- Starting pay is $25/hour.
