Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Patient Service Representative to join our team at Patient First. As a key member of our front office staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our patients and healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist patients with registration and check-in processes, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to address billing and insurance questions.
  • Accurately register patients, verify demographic and insurance information, and collect payments as needed.
  • Provide excellent customer service, empathy, and kindness to patients and families.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including demographic and insurance information.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
  • Perform various administrative tasks, including filing, scanning, and distributing correspondence.
  • Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to stay up-to-date on policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent required; minimum one year of clerical experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for up to 7 hours at a time; ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Basic typing skills and proficiency in electronic medical record systems.
