Product Reliability Engineer

Overview of the Role:


The Product Reliability Engineer, a vital member of our engineering division, focuses on enhancing current offerings to boost dependability, minimize expenses, or introduce new features.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement engineering enhancements and alterations to current products
  • Address customer queries promptly and professionally
  • Draft, update, approve, and disseminate engineering documentation
  • Conduct design assessments, reviews, and verifications on both modified and existing products
  • Evaluate domestic and international orders for engineering and quality standards
  • Establish bill of materials for products to comply with Downing design and API industry specifications
  • Compose reports, business correspondence, and procedural manuals

Essential and Preferred Skills:

  • Proficiency in 3D engineering design, including CAD software expertise
  • Experience with Solidworks is advantageous but not mandatory
  • High-level drafting skills
  • Familiarity with control systems and automation is a plus
  • Creative problem-solving abilities to address customer challenges
  • Analyze issues, gather data, establish facts, and draw sound conclusions
  • Interpret a wide range of technical instructions in mathematical or diagrammatic forms while managing various abstract and concrete variables
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Effectively communicate information and respond to customer inquiries
  • Demonstrate a positive and proactive attitude
  • Excel in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment

Work Environment and Physical Demands:

  • Operates within an office setting of an oil and gas service company manufacturing environment
  • Regular use of standard office equipment such as computers, telephones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines
  • Frequently required to communicate verbally and audibly
  • Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands for manipulation, and reach with hands and arms

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is mandatory
Minimum Experience: - 5 years
