Position Overview

  • Implement infrastructure monitoring to assess system health and capacity, generating alerts for any deviations from defined parameters.
  • Set up and manage container orchestration systems for application deployment.
  • Optimize system performance in terms of memory and CPU usage, and establish internal networking among containers.
  • Maintain database architecture and performance through effective sharding strategies.
  • Automate infrastructure updates to comply with security standards, ensuring timely updates of TLS certificates.
  • Assist in troubleshooting customer issues and escalate critical bugs to the development team for resolution.
  • Document procedures for issue mitigation across various operational scenarios.
Technical Skills Required

Proficiency in Linux, Golang, Travis CI, Jenkins for continuous deployment, NoSQL, and Kubernetes is essential.

Qualifications

A Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required. Alternatively, a Bachelor's degree with five years of progressive experience may be considered. Additionally, one year of experience in a software development or related role is necessary, with a focus on the technologies mentioned.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is between $144,000 and $162,000 annually.
