Management Recruiters of Raleigh is seeking a skilled Environmental Remediation Specialist to become part of a prominent global engineering and consulting firm.

In this position, you will engage in a variety of tasks that support a broad range of environmental assessment and restoration initiatives.

The role primarily consists of office-based responsibilities, including data analysis, report preparation, and proposal development, along with some oversight of field operations.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute remediation strategies (e.g., Enhanced Reductive Dechlorination, Soil Vapor Extraction, air sparging, pump and treat systems)
  • Create detailed technical work plans and comprehensive reports
  • Analyze and interpret findings from technical investigations
  • Contribute to proposals for environmental investigations, remediation, or industrial projects for clients
  • Collaborate effectively both independently and as part of project teams, engaging with clients and other stakeholders
  • Present work plans and findings to clients and regulatory authorities
  • Guide and mentor junior engineering personnel
  • Prioritize health and safety by adhering to all company and client protocols

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Chemical, Civil, or Geotechnical Engineering
  • Professional engineer license or eligibility to obtain one in the relevant states
  • A minimum of 6 years of pertinent work experience
  • Ability to operate with minimal daily oversight
  • Master's degree in environmental engineering or a related discipline is preferred
  • Strong commitment to work ethics
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities
